What public complaints say
We have found three public complaints about Top Caravaning on OCU (Spain) as of 15 October 2026. They are too few to calculate percentages, so we only summarise them. In all three the company replied on the platform.
- OCU (6 August 2024), Málaga branch: according to the customer, the motorhome broke down two days into the rental (coolant loss), they lost two days and paid for a hotel and fuel, and the €900 deposit was held "without much transparency" for over a month. The company replied that the bodywork shop confirmed the fault was covered by the manufacturer's warranty and that it would return the amounts held. Status: closed.
- OCU (7 July 2025), Barcelona branch: the customer says another van hit them from behind on 21 April 2025, asks the company to report the accident to its insurer and to return the €900 deposit because they were not at fault. The company replied that it had given its insurer all the documents and that the timing between insurers does not depend on it; and that, as its terms provide, the deposit would be held until the other party's insurer accepted liability, and returned then. Status: resolved.
- OCU (8 September 2026), Bilbao (Durango) branch: the customer reports the fuel tank was not full, a toilet pump fault and a flat leisure battery that they had to replace in France, with three days of limited use, and asks for compensation. The company replied that the tank was full (the gauge is slow to update), that the toilet problem was a display lock it reset, and that the battery had reached the end of its life; it said it had refunded the full cost of the replacement and offered to compensate one day of the rental (€128.88). The customer replied "agreed". Status: resolved.
